Alison Doody

Alison Doody, born 11 November 1966 in Ireland is a model and actor. Her first feature film appearance was in a minor part on her debut role in the Bond film A View to a Kill. (1985). In the following film, she portrayed Nazi-sympathising Archaeologist Elsa Schneider (Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade 1989). Siobhan donnevan starred in A Prayer for the Dying in 1987, Charlotte was in Taffin (in the year 1988) and Rebecca Flannery played Major League II. Doody was first introduced to modeling when she was invited by an experienced photographer. It led to an enviable career as a commercial model. Doody was very cautious about doing the glamorous work or doing nude. The rule was extended to her acting career. When she came to the director's attention for an upcoming James Bond film, Doody took on a part on the film A View to a Kill (1985). Doody was named one of 12 Promising New Actors of 1986 by John Willis Screen World, Vol. 38. Doody She was just 18 when she portrayed Doody in the film A Prayer for the Dying (1987) with Mickey Rourke. She is the tiniest Bond girl who has a name to her. A different early film played a tiny part in the film in a small role as IRA Siobhan Doovan, a member of the IRA in A Prayer for the Dying (1987) which starred Mickey Rourke. Doody was Archibald Craven's wife Lilias, in his dream in the television adaptation The Secret Garden. In a Jim Henson fantasy episode The Storyteller in 1988, Doody portrayed Sapsorrow with John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. Her first appearance was in the movie Taffin with Pierce Brosnan. Next, she played the role of Dr. Elsa Schneider as an Austrian Nazi-sympathizer and archaeologist opposite Harrison Ford. Doody is a part of the James Bond family, having acted along with Sean Connery and Jonathan Pryce in the film Indiana Jones and the Final Crusade. Doody played alongside Jonathan Pryce as Hitler Diaries, a British mini-series that was inspired by Hitler Diaries. She subsequently relocated to Hollywood. She was chosen to succeed Cybill Shepherd as spokesperson for L'Oreal She went on to appear alongside Charlie Sheen in 1994's Major League II as Flannery his girlfriend and agent. Doody was off acting for more than 10 years, came back in 2003 for a minor role on The Actors, a British comedy The Actors in which Michael Caine appeared as her in a scene at an award ceremony. Doody was a co-star, along together with Patrick Swayze, in the 2004 TV film adaptation to King Solomon's Mines. Doody was part of Danny Dyer's The Rapture (2009). In 2011, she was set to be the main character in The Asphyx remake, but that project fell through. The actress began her two seasons on the E4 comedy Beaver Falls in 2011 as Pam Jefferson. The show featured her in We Still Kill the Old Way in 2014, a documentary. She was given the Almeria Tierra de Cinema award on the 21st of November, 2018.
